About Mike Smith

Mike Smith is an independent insurance broker specializing in health insurance and Medicare planning. As the owner and founder of MPS Insurance Advisors LLC, he prides himself on a deep dedication to service and advocacy for his clients. Initially drawn to a career in insurance after his own father’s sudden diagnosis of kidney failure, Mike understands the difference having an efficient health insurance plan can have on a person’s life and financial future.

When he is not helping individuals and families with their health insurance and Medicare planning, he enjoys spending time with his fiancée Jeannine, and his two-year-old golden retriever Jet Milo.

Mike has a bachelor's degree from the University of New Orleans and is licensed in health and life in multiple states.
